20 Charming Small Farmhouse Bathroom Design Ideas

There are two things that I am obsessed with when it comes to home design. One is finding creative ways to make small spaces feel special, and my other obsession is the character of farmhouse style.

Combine the two and you have a truly inspiring design challenge! Today I wanted to merge these two worlds and share some of the prettiest small farmhouse bathroom ideas to inspire you and show you the possibilities for your own home.

Classic Tubs and Vintage Lights

The claw-foot bathtub is pretty much the heart of any great farmhouse bathroom. I think it even finds a way to work in the smallest spaces because you can place it almost anywhere.

And if you can find one in a bright color that plays well with your color scheme, that’s even better! You can pair it with a custom wood vanity tucked in a corner and top it all off with the perfect vintage-style sconce light right above it.

A little patterned tile on the floor, some texture on the walls, and a bit of repurposed magic here and there will complete your dream bathroom.

Just remember, since the space is small and already has a lot going on, it’s a smart move to keep unnecessary accessories out and stick to what’s absolutely essential.

Upcycled Finds and Modern Comfort

Of course, modern functionality still has a role in the farmhouse bathroom. But what you really want to focus on are the aesthetics that bring the style to life. And I think few things do that as well as repurposed décor or weathered pieces that have been given a new purpose.

Instead of a generic under-sink vanity, think about a pedestal sink with an old, refurbished cabinet next to it for a much more authentic farmhouse vibe. Placing them in the corner is also a great way to save valuable space in a small bathroom.

Some painted fixtures and a touch of vintage wood paneling in the background will finish off the look perfectly.
