Hexagon Shaped Tile Ideas
I’m just obsessed with hexagon tiles for creating flooring designs that are completely unique.
This is such a gorgeous example of a modern hexagon tile. I think it’s just perfect for a bathroom floor, especially with those beautiful blueish colors and the mix of Mediterranean patterns. It’s from the Lucia collection by Verso25.
These next ideas from the Argila Origine hexagonal tile collection by Peronda are just to die for!
The collection has two plain-colored designs and four decors with these lovely relief patterns in either blue or brown shades. I feel like these would be perfect for a country style room.
And how about this rustic flooring design? It’s made with hexagon tiles from the Palatium collection by Eco Ceramica and it’s so charming.
Here’s a really unusual hexagonal floor tile from the La Galleria collection. It has a more classic motif that feels so elegant.
Decorative Ceramic Tile Rugs
You can totally elevate a luxury living room by creating a decorative tile rug.
This one uses porcelain tile from the Auris collection by Peronda and it is a complete showstopper.
Or how about this tile rug with a vintage vibe? It’s decorated in majolica patterns from the Base porcelain tile series by Fap Ceramiche. So lovely.
Aged Look Tile Flooring
This ceramic floor tile from the Collection D’Autore by Eco Ceramica has such a beautiful rustic, aged appearance. I love it.
The tile is also available in this really unusual geometric pattern.
Here’s an idea inspired by the 14th century.
The Maestri Ceramisti tile series from Eco Ceramica gets its inspiration from the “mysterious fascination of floors in the Palace of Avignon,” which was the Pope’s French home back then.
It comes in ten colors with so many ornaments you can combine to create a beautiful and unique floor in any room.
I also spotted these hand painted patchwork tiles in a bathroom.
They have a subtle floral motif and aged look from the Rinascimento collection by Eco Ceramica. So pretty!
Victorian Motif Tiles
This bathroom floor decoration is so elegant. It’s made from distinct blue tiles that are hand-painted with Victorian style motifs.
This is Minoo by Marcel Wanders. The series has 5 different patchwork patterns, and each one is available in 8 colors.
And check out this living room flooring. It’s a Victorian look ceramic tile from the Ornamenti collection by Eco Ceramica, and it’s just stunning.
Stone Look Tile
This living room floor is simply amazing. It’s a petrified stone-look ceramic tile from the Fosil collection by NG Kutahya Seramik.
And here we have a terracotta effect flooring tile from the Terre Nuove collection by Ceramica Sant’Agostino. It’s made with an innovative digital ink-jet printing system.
The result is a perfect reproduction of the natural variations of handmade cotto, which is a traditional Italian tile material.
It creates this stunning aged look, which you can see in the kitchen image below.
Here’s the terracotta effect ceramic tile on a floor with high traffic. Still looks fabulous!
You can even use it in the bathroom on the floor and walls! These two images show the terracotta effect tile from the same Terre Nuove collection.
Unusual Tile Designs
When you have flowers, you need butterflies! Grey butterflies, in this case, which is so unusual, especially for a flooring design.
This tile is from the Papillon collection of hand painted ceramic tiles by the New York based designer Ruben Toledo for Ceramica Bardelli.
This next one is a porcelain stoneware flooring from the Selection Floor collection by Ceramiche Supergres.
I love how they used these tiles with unusual, carpet-inspired decorative patterns across the entire floor of a living room. Such a statement!
Wood Look Tile Designs
Here’s a bedroom with a wood look tile floor that has some added decorative elements. It’s from the French Woods porcelain collection by Iris Ceramica.
This has to be the most amazing petrified wood look tile I’ve ever seen.
This is from the Kauri collection by Oregon Tile and Marble, shown here on a living room floor.
Vintage Look Tile
This tile was designed with bathroom floors in mind. It’s a sample from the patterned series La Ceramica d’Eccellenza by Eco Ceramica.
I think this would be absolutely great for artistic vintage or bohemian style ideas.
This patchwork tile design is perfect for a vintage style living room or bathroom. It has a lovely aged appearance and is from the Le Civilta collection by Eco Ceramica.

The light violet color tones create such a serene room design.
This last one is a fashionable contemporary patchwork mix from the Colori Naturali New collection. It’s such a fun flooring design idea!
Floral Motif Tile
Okay, here’s a super creative idea for your bathroom flooring, a printed floral motif tile. It’s like you’re walking in a field of flowers every morning. This is Candela, and it’s one of the most beautiful tile designs from the Museum range by Peronda.
Candela by Peronda is anything but ordinary. It’s a glazed porcelain tile with a fascinating design inspired by a printed fabric from fashion designer Juan Vidal.
That fabric was, in turn, inspired by Tiffany lamps. How cool is that?
Concrete Look Tile Idea
I really like this bathroom floor in a concrete look tile.
The decorative flower motif inserts from the Seaside porcelain collection by La Fabbrica add such a soft, pretty touch.
Miniature Tile
You can create a really beautiful floor design with a tiny tile mosaic. This one is from Eco Ceramica and the detail is just incredible.
